Paul Weller is born to Woking, Surrey, in England on May 25 1958. To alone fifteen years founds a first version of the Jam (a group that will influence notably the following Smithses and the most recent Oasis) with Steve Brooks, Neil Harris and Dave Waller. In 1977 the group, remodeled as trio after the entry of Bruce Foxton (low) and Rick Buckler (battery) beside the leader, signature with the Polydor and it publishes the album In THE CITY. To the album that contains this last, SOUND AFFECTS (1980), THE and New DIG THE BREED follow, disk live and musical will of the group. 1983 coincides with the change of Paul Weller. In fact "The ModFaher" form, with Mick Talbot, the Style Council, group "new cool" with which public a splendid EP, INTRODUCING THE STYLE COUNCIL and five albums, before melting in 1990, because of the difficulties met in to find a new record contract: Café' BLEU, probably the best, OUR FAVOURITE SHOP, HOME AND ABROAD, THE COST OF LOVING, CONFESSIONS OF To Pop GROUP.
In 1991, with Paul Francis (low), Max Beesley (keyboards), Jacko Peake (sax), Joe Becket (percussions), Damon Brown (trumpet), Chris Lawrence (trombone) and Steve White (battery) the Paul Weller Movement is born, a live devoted band to the classical ones of the rhythm and blues. 1992 marks the beginning of the soloist career of Paul Weller and continued with great success in country, where its disks return on top of the charts and to the preferences of young authors as Noel Gallagher of the Oasis. In that year it with the eponimo "Paul Weller" that it receives good critiques and it reaches the eighth position in the English classification. The following album, "Wild Wood" of 1993 you/he/she will be introduced to the public with a long tour that will bring to the project "Live Wood." In the 1995 public Weller "Stanley Road", his/her greatest success from the times of the Jam and best seller with almost a million copies sold in England. They will follow other three albums - "Heavy Soul" of 1997, "Heliocentric" of 2000 and "Illumination" of 2002, a harvest "Modern Classics: Greatest Hits" (1998), the live "Days of Speed" (2001) and the project of cover "Study 150" (2004). In October 2005 the fantastic album AS IS NOW goes out. In February of 2006 the Brit Award receives to the career, before beginning the realization of his/her last work, 22 DREAMSs, disk gone out in 2008, that a Paul Weller returns at the most us some form. The years pass but he seems to never grow old.
