The first Subsonicas are formed in the 1996a Turin in the mythical Casasonica, ex laboratory cinema crib of the musical project destined to write an important piece in the history of the Italian music. It passes around one year and in 1997 the Mescal it publishes "Subsonica", first CD and him from the away to the Tour itinerante for the whole summer that culminates with the fortunate share to the MTV Day and to the conquest of the title of band revelation.
After some important collaborations he reaches 1998, that he/she sees an intense activity live with 150 concerts that reveal live the verve of the Subsonicas and that they mark a run of strong approach to his/her own fans, in exponential increase. In the same year the single ones are published "Radioestensioni" and "blue Radio", and the success of the band goes out of the home boundaries to land in the plaza most important of the world, that English.
In 1999 the Subsonicas strike his/her own fans with a "Hit of gun", among the passages still more explosives and appreciated, that anticipates of a few months the exit of the new album "emotional Microchip." 2000 is the year of the consecration. The share to the Festival of Sanremo launches "All of my mistakes" in peak to the classifications, "emotional Microchip" conquest the gold disk and, after few months, the disk of platinum. The single one "Disco labyrinth" it is the more played from the national broadcasting stations, recording a great success, and the crowning reaches the European MTVs Awards what good Italian band. As if it was not enough, the boys' glass showcase prodigy becomes wealthy of the P.The.M. in the categories "2000 good disk" and "good group", grazing the three of a kind with the nomination for the "good tour."
After a period devoted to the experimentations and the personal projects, the Subsonicas return in 2002 with "Amorematico", that conquers the gold disk in few days, and with the homonym tour. In November 2002, after the last individual "calm People", the second MTV Music Awards arrives - Best Italian Act; encored later few days to the Italian Music Awards for the graphic project of "Amorematico" and for the arrangement of "Rapid Clouds." The year concludes him with a new disk of platinum: 100.000 copies sold of "Amorematico."
2003 is marked from numerous concerts and of the publication of the official biography, "Anomaly Subsonica", while 2004è the year of the contract with the EMI and of the birth of the label "Casasonica", in the scenery leading whether to see to be fervent the jobs for the production of the new album.
2005. "Earthling" it is a disk of extraordinary intensity, that the whole artistic maturation of the band expresses, that doesn't abdicate its style and the experimentation conjugating a melodic and a rhythm able to make breach on any type of public. An announced success, waiting for new traces still able to surprise.
